Tweeddale is heading to Hong Kong from 6-9 May for HOFEX 2015! This is Asia’s leading food and hospitality tradeshow, which has been running or 28 years. This year is the Tweeddale’s first visit, with whisky from around the world being one of the show’s new 2015 highlights.
Tweeddale is joining the stand with Scottish Development International (SDI) and Scotland Food and Drink. A few of the limited 1,420 bottlings of the Tweeddale Batch Four (blended in August 2013) are taking the 14 hour journey to Hong Kong. 14 is also how old the lowland malt in this whisky is, matured in an Islay cask. The single grain component is 16yo from a refilled hogshead, and seven of the malts are taken from the same casks as the first three batches – just when they’re a wee bit older of course.
