We’re teaming up with London-based Scottish restaurant Mac & Wild for their monthly Whisky Sessions on the last Saturday in March. It’s the perfect pre-game for your International Whisk(e)y Day, and a great way to enjoy your Easter break.
Join us there for a five-dram R&B journey and treats from Mac & Wild’s bar and kitchen.
Our R&B Co-Founder, Alasdair Day, will introduce you to the R&B Distillers story, starting where all tales should – at the very beginning – with The Tweeddale Blend, our heritage in the whisky world.
You’ll sample and savour your way through our modern day plans to reinstate and introduce Scotch whisky to the uncommon provenance of both sides of Alasdair’s heritage – in the Scottish Borders and up on the Isle of Raasay, just a ferry ride from Skye.
But, we currently have just three whiskies in our portfolio, how can there be five drams?
Our tasting experience at Mac & Wild is an uncommon opportunity to taste the two expressions that make up one of our new whiskies in the style of distilleries to come! Then, you’ll finish off with the completed RAASAY While We Wait single malt & BORDERS single grain, leaving you full of anticipation for our first single malt out of the Isle of Raasay Distillery in 2020.
Just in case you still need convincing – how about a whisky cocktail on arrival from Mac & Wild’s expert bar staff, and a feast of locally inspired canapes? That’s all included in your ticket price.
