We’re proud to have been shortlisted for ‘Emerging Start-Up Exporter of the Year’ at the HSBC Scottish Export Awards in Association with Scottish Enterprise.
With three whiskies in our R&B portfolio, our heritage brand The Tweeddale, and our new Raasay While We Wait and Borders in anticipation of the distilleries to come in those uncommon provenances, we’re busy making them available to as many whisky-lovers around the world as we can.
Scotch whisky is widely appreciated across the globe, as is an interest in craft spirits and the provenance of products made with care. We’re already delivering our drams to markets in the UK, parts of Europe, and Taiwan. We’ve also got our sights set on developing relationships in the United States, South East Asia, and even more of Europe.
Export has its challenges, characterised most simply by the diverse culture of consumers and trade regulations in overseas markets. However, we’re committed to seeking out suitable import distributing partners on the ground to help the process run smoothly. And, after all the best part of exporting around the world? The opportunity to visit, research, and discover a vibrant array of locations and share our whisky.
Just being shortlisted for this award is a great honour, and we wish all the best to all the organisations in our category. We’re looking forward to celebrating them all on March 23rd in Glasgow at The HSBC Scottish Export Awards ceremony event. You can read more about the awards and other nominees here.
In the meantime we also chatted to Business Quarter magazine online about our export experiences, find the article here.
