New Whiskies in Scotch at The Balmoral
Our lightly peated single malt, Raasay While We Wait, is a prediction of the unique flavours that will be produced from new whisky-making terroir, the Isle of Raasay, where we are building our first distillery set to open in the Summer of 2017.
Borders is a highland single grain with a herbaceous lightness and heavily influenced by the finishing process in Oloroso sherry casks and derives inspiration from the Borders region of Scotland where R&B plan to build a future distillery.
The Place to Enjoy Scotch at The Balmoral Hotel
Staffed by knowledgeable whisky ambassadors and positioned above Edinburgh’s Waverley station, Scotch at The Balmoral is the perfect setting for a dram while waiting for the train, before heading out for the evening, or to warm up with a nightcap. R&B Distillers are proud to be included in the bar’s impressive whisky collection.
Fraser Robson, head-bartender at Scotch commented:
As a bar who lists nearly every active distillery in Scotland, we are keen to establish relationships with the many new distilling companies from around the country. We are pleased to now stock R&B’s first releases and we very much look forward to seeing what they will produce from their own distilleries over the coming years.
