Day 2 in Toronto.
Tuesday 28th May; It’s been an interesting day in Toronto. Slightly grey with soft Scottish rain and 15`C, pretty much like being at home.
First stop was the Feathers pub www.thefeatherspub.ca and had a good chat with Reid Pickering about The Tweeddale. While we were there we also meet Johanna Ngoh @singleminded and Charles Anderson of www.spititoftoronto.ca.
Then it was off to the LCBO No 10 Summerhill store to do a staff tasting. It was great to talk to these guys about The Tweedddale and get their feedback. This is a very impressive store in the old Canadian Railway station building, with a fantastic selection of wonderful products.
This store has a tasting bar where you can try a wee dram of The Tweeddale for 1 CAD.
Then it was off to the Spirithouse www.spirithousetoronto.com these guys have a cocktail academy as well as a great selection of spirits and whisky.
We then popped into Williams Landing www.williamslanding.ca for an impromtu chat wuth Donna Cassell the General Manager.
I have been really impressed by the genuine interest and positive feedback from everyone today.
It’s an other big day tomorrow and I don’t think I have quite adjusted to the time difference yet but that might just be all the Tweeddale tasting & time spent in excellent pubs today!
