Carol Emmas reports back from Liverpool’s Whisky Lounge Fest 2013
Carol Emmas review & tasting notes for THE TWEEDDALE 4th release.
Carol Emmas reports back from Liverpool’s Whisky Lounge Fest 2013 for Harpers.co.uk and includes a review with tasting notes on THE TWEEDDALE Limted Edition, Small Batch, Blended Scotch Whisky batch 4.
“One of the most impressive and unpretentious blended whiskies of the day was the newly released The Tweeddale Blend Batch 4 (rrp £39.99) which is a blend of nine 14 year old Scotch whiskies including an aged single grain whisky (16 year old) and eight individually selected aged single malt whiskies.
In this newly released batch there is a delicate herbal nose of heather and lavender and on the palate a warm caramel and spiced sweetness with an autumnal touch of smoky peat with a sea salt tang”.
